CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – West Texas A&M University has received a $5 million gift to the College of Engineering, the largest in the college's history.
According to officials, the anonymous foundation behind the gift announced the donation on Tuesday at the Engineering and Computer Sciences Building. Officials said that the funds will help develop solutions in areas such as renewable energy, resilient infrastructure and technology that supports rural communities.
