The company that used to operate the Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival has agreed to stop what the city says was unauthorized use of the event name and trademarks. The move may resolve a lawsuit filed by the city recently.

Fantasy Balloon Flights had run the festival for the city since 2015, but after issues with the production last year, the city awarded the operations contract to another company, Soundskilz.
