Troopers have made a big fentanyl and cocaine bust in Plymouth County, arresting seven people to “disrupt a narcotics operation that posed a significant public safety threat to the local community.”

Mass State Police partnered with Marion Police to arrest the suspects on Monday — and seized fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone pills, psilocybin mushrooms, and cash.

“Investigators intercepted communication that allowed them to observe a fentanyl transaction between two men,” Mass State Police posted.

The alleged dealer was identified as Spencer Mello, 35, and the alleged customer was identified as Alexander Ard, 25.

Police arrested the pair after the alleged deal, seized a large quantity of fentanyl, and secured a residence-of-interest on Point Road in Marion until they could obtain a search wa
