FORT ERIE - Runaway Again overtook Mansetti just before the wire to win the $400,000 Prince of Wales Stakes on Tuesday.
Mansetti, the 4/5 favourite with apprentice jockey Pietro Moran aboard, appeared poised to earn the victory but jockey Ryan Munger got Runaway Again to surge ahead just before the wire to win the 1 3/16-mile dirt race at Fort Erie Racetrack in 1:55.3.
Moran and Mansetti captured last month's $1-million King's Plate at Toronto's Woodbine Racetrack, the first jewel of the OLG Canadian Triple Crown.
Faber finished third in the seven-horse field.
Wando remains the last horse to win the Triple Crown, achieving the feat in 2003.
