Oregon State baseball nabbed another outfield recruit from the Class of 2026, a former commit of former Pac-12 conference mate USC.

Troy Southisene announced his commitment to the Beavers on Tuesday. Hailing from Henderson, Nevada, the 5-10 Southisene can also play in the middle infield, primarily shortstop.

Off the bat, Southisene measured a 92 mile-per-hour exit velocity at a Perfect Game event in July. In his most recent high school season, Southisene hit .348 with a .418 OBP and 13 RBI, according to MaxPreps.

His older brother, Tate, was rated the top player in the state of Nevada in 2025 and was also committed to USC before being selected by the Atlanta Braves in the first round of the 2025 MLB Draft.
