The driver involved in a suspected DUI crash in Napa County over the weekend is charged with six counts of murder, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol said 53-year-old Norberto Celerino, a resident of Stockton, was driving drunk and without a valid license when the collision occurred.
The van Celerino was driving on Sunday veered off Pope Valley Road in Napa County and crashed into a tree, killing six passengers and injuring two others, according to the CHP.
The district attorney said Celerino also goes by the names Norberto (Beto) Celerino Villalva, Grabien Martinez, and Roberto Savaringo-Diabla.
