Police in Virginia say a woman too old to defend herself was sexually assaulted inside her Manassas nursing home.

Prince William County Police have arrested a man accused of raping the 89-year-old resident.

According to court documents, an employee at Paramount Senior Living at Manassas was doing room checks about 8 p.m. Friday when she got to one room and found the door closed. The employee told police that was unusual, so she opened the door, and inside she told police she saw the resident, an 89-year-old woman, and it looked like she had just been raped.
