GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - According to ESPN, the Green Bay Packers and wide receiver Christian Watson have come to an agreement on a one-year contract extension for the 2026 season.

Watson’s four-year rookie contract was set to expire at the end of the 2025 season, allowing Watson to enter free agency. Instead, the new deal means he will likely remain in Green Bay for at least one more season.

Watson is currently on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list after tearing his ACL in 2024’s Week 18 matchup against the Bears. He finished the 2024 season with 29 catches for 620 yards, averaging 21.4 yards per catch.
