(NewsNation) — Border czar Tom Homan said Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker's allegation that he racially profiles individuals is "disgusting" and is asking for an apology.

Earlier Tuesday, Pritzker said Homan "long ago acknowledged he was racially profiling" and that his agency is "attacking our Latino communities" amid ICE's increased presence in Chicago.

Homan told "The Hill" on Tuesday evening that he "will be waiting for his apologies," denying he has ever said that.

The border czar said Pritzker "miscontrued" what he had previously stated.

Homan told NewsNation that an individual's appearance is "one of the many factors you consider," noting that "you can't arrest somebody just based on appearance."
