At a Baltimore City Council committee hearing Tuesday, Councilman Mark Conway grew frustrated with members of several city agencies for failing to present a clear, concise, coordinated plan to address the city’s opioid overdose problem.
“The leaders of our agencies are here without a plan and I’m keen to hear why that is the case,” Conway said at a hearing for City Council’s Public Safety Committee that he chairs. “We know that every week without action is another week where people who could have started treatment after an overdose are sent back to the streets.”
