A former Pinkerton Academy student is suing a former security guard and the Derry high school, alleging Christopher P. Crowell sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions and that school officials failed to protect her.

A Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury indicted Crowell, a 28-year-old Derry resident, in June on five counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, four counts of providing a female student alcohol and one count each of simple assault and stalking, according to court documents. Crowell pleaded not guilty to all charges on July 18.
