Hilary Duff is making a surprise return to music — and her fans couldn't be happier.
The 37-year-old singer and actor, who hasn't released an album of new songs since 2015's “Breathe In. Breathe Out.,” has signed a deal with Atlantic Records, according to a Sept. 9 press release.

The former “Lizzie McGuire” and “Younger” star is also collaborating with Sam Wrench, the filmmaker behind “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” and “A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter,” on an "intimate docuseries" that chronicles her return to music and her personal journey, the release said.
