The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Saturday, Sept. 6, at around 4.40 p.m., a 42-year-old female victim was walking on the sidewalk and stopped to tie her shoelace in front of 2575 Jerome Avenue.
“An unidentified individual operating a black pedal bicycle then approached the victim from the side, forcibly removed the necklace from around her neck, and pushed her to the ground,” a police spokesperson said. “The individual then fled on his bicycle southbound on Jerome Avenue.”
