HOUSTON — A juvenile suspect believed to be responsible for attacks on women at a northwest Houston park has been arrested, Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen announced Tuesday.
The Houston Police Department made the arrest in cooperation with Constable Precinct One. The search began after two women were attacked in broad daylight at Shepherd Park on August 27 and 28. Houston police say the juvenile is connected to at least one of the attacks.
"A juvenile suspect believed to be responsible for recent attacks in Shepherd Park is in custody," Rosen posted on social media. "He was arrested by our Houston Police partners who have been investigating in cooperation with Constable Pct. One."
The attacks occurred on consecutive days on the popular trail. One woman was dragged into the bushes
