Officers are searching for a man after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a Walmart in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Tuesday night.

According to police, an officer working a security detail inside the store reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from the parking lot. The officer immediately went outside and found a woman near the police vehicle with a gunshot wound.

The woman told the officer that the shooter was her ex-boyfriend.
