The Alexandria Community Christian School's cross country teams competed in the Long Prairie Grey Eagle Cross Country Invitational on Monday, Sept. 8.
Sophomore Moriah Loween, running varsity, came in with a season PR at the meet, according to the head of the school, Jaclyn Loween. Moriah Loween placed 13 out of 70 with a time of 22:45.25 in the 5000-meter race.
Also competing in the varsity race was eighth-grader Evie Moore. She came in 34th out of 70 runners with a time of 26:04.38.
Another season PR was set by sophomore Spencer Moore, who was also running varsity. He took 23rd place of out 97 runners and crossed the line with a time of 20:30.87.
There were a total of 14 schools competing at Monday's LPGE Invitational.
