INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever ended the regular season on a high note as they await a playoff opponent.
Five players scored in double figures as Indiana defeated first-place Minnesota, 83-72, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Tuesday night.
The Fever will now turn to a bit of scoreboard watching to determine who they will face in the WNBA playoffs, which start Sunday, Sept. 14.
Indiana will finish either sixth or seventh in the standings, depending on how the Golden State Valkyries wrap up the season. The Fever finished the season with a 24-20 record, while the Valkyries currently stand at 23-19, with a late Tuesday game at Seattle and a Thursday contest at Minnesota remaining on their schedule.
