GEORGIA, USA — State Rep. Tanya Miller says her campaign for Georgia attorney general is rooted in a lifetime of public service.
Miller, who chairs the House Democratic Caucus, launched her campaign in August with the slogan “People first, always.” In a recent interview with The Georgia Vote , she said her daily work gives her “a close-up view of the struggles that Georgians are having, whether it’s in urban communities or rural communities.”
She believe s the attorney general has a critical role in addressing those issues.
“The attorney general has tremendous power, to use that office and to use lawsuits and going to court, to vindicate and defend and fight for the people,” Miller said.
Miller, a former Fulton County prosecutor and civil rights attorney, said her focus has always
