Vermont soccer couldn't pull off the win on Tuesday, Sept. 9. But the reigning NCAA champion pulled off more late magic to draw level with Dartmouth at sold-out Virtue Field .

The Catamounts erased a two-goal deficit with a pair of header goals in the final 15 minutes of regulation, salvaging a 3-3 tie with the Big Green in a nonconference showdown.

On the same day it dropped from ninth to 13th in the United Soccer Coaches top-25 poll, Vermont avoided its first loss of 2025, moving to 3-0-3 during the middle game of a four-game homestand.

Philipp Kuehn (76th minute) and Maximilian Kissel (86th minute) provided the late tallies for the Catamounts. Per NCAA rules, teams do not play overtime during the regular season.
