NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Bristol man was sentenced Tuesday to seven years in prison for distributing fentanyl and laundering funds he fraudulently gained from a COVID-19 relief program.
Terry Collins, 31, received the sentence in New Haven federal court, according to a report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Court records show that in 2022, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Haven Task Force joined its Tactical Diversion Squad and the Waterbury Police Department to determine that Gawayne Fisher was selling drugs in and around Waterbury while on federal supervised release.
