At least four people were injured in a shooting in San Francisco's India Basin neighborhood late Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded at about 5:48 p.m. to the 1500 block of Burke Avenue to investigate a reported shooting, according to police. They found one victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

While they were still at the scene, officers learned that three other people suffering from gunshot wounds had showed up at a hospital. Their conditions weren't immediately known.
