FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested following a multi-agency investigation in Fresno County.
The two people who were arrested were 21-year-old Benjamin Guzman and 21-year-old Matthew Rivera.
On Aug. 19, multiple agencies served a search warrant in the unincorporated area of eastern Fresno County near Reedley.
The warrant followed a two-month investigation by the Tulare Area Regional Gun Enforcement Team (TARGET) personnel into the unlawful possession, manufacturing and sale of machine guns and assault weapons.
Officials said that during the operation, Guzman was arrested at his job site on a Ramey warrant connected to the investigation.
