Selena Gomez is getting personal about how therapy has helped her work through the issues she’s “sensitive” about.

The singer, actress, and Rare Beauty founder spoke to Allure for their cover story about how she deals with trauma from body shaming.

In the interview, Selena said that she uses dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Cleveland Clinic describes DBT as a type of talk therapy that has been “specially adapted for people who experience emotions very intensely.”

Selena says that it helps her with “peeling away layers” of things that are bothering her.
