ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A search is underway for a new nursing aide clinical supervisor for nursing students at RPS 205.

“If we don’t find someone soon, then it impacts the number of our students could obtain,” explained RPS executive director," explained RPS executive director, Bridget French.

High school students from across the district visit The Quad’s College and Career Education Center for part of their day to gain hands-on experience in specific career pathways, including nursing.

“It feels amazing being in this program,” shared Guilford senior, Talal Razick.

The program needs a nurse supervisor, a role that is essential to students receiving practical training with real patients. Clinical sessions start in two weeks.
