BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - New legislation and a changing economic climate mean many people looking to do business in Vermont are faced with uncertainty.

The Lake Champlain Chamber, a regional organization that promotes entrepreneurship, is hosting accountants and legal experts from the Burlington area on Friday who will break down the controversial "One Big Bill" act section by section.

Topics to be covered are changes to tax credits and business deductions, long-term planning to align with the new law, and other reforms introduced by the bill.

The event is presented with help from South Burlington accounting firm Gallagher, Flynn & Company and Burlington law firm Downs Rachlin Martin.
