PINE RIVER — Mimi Bueckers finished with 22 kills, seven digs, six blocks and two aces to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 3-2 victory over the Verndale Pirates Tuesday, Sept. 9.

PRB’s Caylei Johnson posted 23 set assists and 12 digs, while Ella Dahl tallied 23 digs, three kills, a block and an ace. Ella Brewer had 10 kills, 19 digs and three blocks and Ariana Burns chipped in 21 digs.

Verndale was led by Emily Elfstrum, who recorded four kills, 18 digs, 12 set assists, and three aces. Madyson Anderson tallied seven kills, 15 digs and an ace. Aspen Orlando posted five kills, nine digs, 15 set assists, two aces and a block and Sena Lehmann added 25 digs.
