Letter: School Committee member disputes mayoral candidate statement

To the editor:

As a tenured School Committee member and future Ward 3 city councilor, I’m paying close attention to the mayoral race, particularly as candidates discuss our schools and the school budget. According to his website, Councilor McCauley is running for mayor with part of his platform being “investing in our schools” by supporting school improvement plans, teachers, and financial transparency.
