An alert has been triggered for minor flooding along the Macquarie River.

The community is being advised to stay informed about predicted minor flooding, which could affect low-lying areas, including a low-level bridge.

At 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 10, the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) issued a flood warning for Bathurst and low-lying areas of the Macquarie River from Perthville in the south to Lake Burrendong in the north.

The Macquarie River at Stanley Street, Bathurst, is currently at 1.78 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
