HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Advocacy organizations came together in Holyoke to protest a proposed city council measure that they believe would impact the safety of the City's immigrants.

A large group of advocates from organizations like the 'Real Majority of Holyoke' and 'Indivisible Northampton-swing left western Massachusetts' showed up in front of Holyoke City Hall on Tuesday, demanding that the city of Holyoke not work or collaborate with ICE.

"We figure it is a matter of what happens with us; we need to show up in large numbers just to show that the city of Holyoke is watching. And this doesn't represent the wishes," said organizer and Real Majority Holyoke Member, Claire McGale.
