NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - In Newburgh, One business owner jumped into action to help house some animals affected by Saturday’s fire at PBTT.
Laurie Davis is the owner of Bubbles & Paws Canine Grooming & Boarding.
Over the weekend, when she became aware of the fire, she loaded up her horse trailer with crates and made her way to the Warrick Humane Society, which is next door to PBTT.
She picked up a total of 13 dogs, with 6 of the smaller ones finding home fairly quickly.
Laurie says she interacts with dogs all day, so adding a few more doesn’t bother her. She just wants to help any way she can.
