NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The former Tennessee Speaker of the House, Glen Casada, and his aide, Cade Cothren, have been acquitted of three corruption charges.
Casada and Cothren were acquitted of count 2 - federal program fraud, and counts 3 and 4 of federal program bribery, according to their legal representation.
According to court filings, the two were acquitted on Tuesday afternoon during a telephone hearing.
