SAN ANTONIO — A suspected road rage shooting landed a victim in the hospital Tuesday night, SAPD says.

Around 9:20 p.m., police were called to the area of Culebra and I-10 West where the victim had pulled over his vehicle.

Police say an unknown suspect fired shots into the victim's vehicle on the access road of I-10 and West Hildebrand. The victim, a 36-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The victim told officers that he was driving home from work and believes he accidently drove in front of a white Jeep at an unsafe time. The driver of that Jeep began hoking at the victim, then drove around him to try and cut him off, police say.
