( 25News Now ) - As the dog days of summer move farther away in the windshield, high school soccer continues to roll on across Central Illinois.

In Mid-Illini play, Washington won 6-0 over Pekin, Dunlap outlasted Limestone 4-0, and Metamora tied Morton 1-1. In Big 12 play, Normal West continued their impressive start with a 4-1 win over Peoria Richwoods, while Peoria Notre Dame defended home turf with a convincing win over Peoria Manual.

Mid-Illini volleyball also rolled on as Metamora won a thrilling rivalry matchup over Washington, and Limestone defended home court in their win over East Peoria. Bloomington Central Catholic and Normal U-High also notched another mark in the win column.
