HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Huntington City Hall hosted an early screening on Tuesday night of an upcoming PBS documentary film.

“Bitter Pill” follows Huntington native and attorney Paul Farrell Jr. and his ongoing civil battle with the pharmaceutical industry.

What started as local battle in Cabell County for Farrell has since turned into the largest civil litigation in U.S. history. The screening featured a Q&A with Farrell Jr. and was moderated by WSAZ’s Tim Irr.

“This case means a lot to the city,” said Huntington Mayor Patrick Farrell, who is Paul Farrell’s brother and introduced the film at City Hall. “The men and the women of the city have went through a lot they’ve suffered a lot and Paul being the attorney on a national level and bringing it back here locally, it’s a really prou
