“Luxor no bugs. Luxor you bug me.”

That was just one of several spirited chants that went up outside the downtown headquarters of Luxor Management on Tuesday as close to 50 people gathered on the sidewalk to protest what they call “unacceptable living conditions” — including an infestation of bedbugs — at 12 Elgin, a seniors apartment complex most folks still know as Christ the King.

Tenants of that building formed the largest part of the contingent but residents of other Luxor-managed properties, including Centreville and Solidarity Lodge, were also on hand.
