Council heard the news on Monday from airport manager Bryan Avery, who told them that the airport was notified that changes will be implemented in November.
According to Air Canada’s website, flights will arrive and depart from North Bay on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. But there will be no flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Avery said the airport was recently made aware of the schedule changes that will begin in November through May.
“There will be a larger aircraft, but at a reduced frequency,” he said.
