Anshul Sidher, the managing director of ANZ’s markets division, is leaving the bank immediately amid a broad restructure that will cut 3500 jobs and save the lender more than $700 million a year.

ANZ said Sidher, who was based in Singapore and oversaw the scandal-plagued markets business, stepped down on Wednesday to “pursue other opportunities”.
