Producers of one of the biggest reality TV shows in the UK are reeling after back-to-back scandals involving alleged drug use and rape.

Police have confirmed that one of the stars of the hugely popular show, Strictly Come Dancing, was arrested and is assisting them with inquiries into allegations of rape.

The man who is reportedly one of the BBC shows ‘stars’ has been questioned authorities on suspicion of rape and allegations involving “non-consensual intimate image abuse”.

The Met police inquiry is not related to the current series and comes after the BBC held and inquiry into claims of drug abuse by a range of participants on the show.
