After getting out to a slow start, the Mavericks took the final two sets to extras, but couldn't find a way to get the extra point.

Senior outside hitter Jenna Nelson hit 20 kills for the third consecutive match, while adding seven digs, one ace and one block.

Senior libero Kaley Embry led the Mavericks with 14 digs.

Senior outside hitter Lexi Bradley racked up six kills and 12 digs.

Senior setter Emersyn Garr logged 14 assists.

DHS falls to 2-7 overall and 1-2 in WDA play.
