LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – Ridgeline High School recently took center stage in promoting STEM education by hosting the annual "FIRST Tech Challenge." This event, which focuses on robotics, brought together students from across the region.

During the challenge, teams were tasked with designing, building and programming robots to compete against one another. On Saturday, students gathered at Ridgeline High School to begin brainstorming strategies for the competition.

The "FIRST Tech Challenge" has been instrumental in spreading STEM education nationwide. It offers students the opportunity to develop skills in metalworking, coding and web creation.

Participating students often secure scholarships associated with the program, helping them advance in their STEM careers.
