NORWAY – The Norway Knights won all 14 tennis sets played and added another victory on forfeit as they dominated Munising 8-0 on Monday in Norway.
“The Knights’ depth and consistency across all flights helped them secure the sweep, showcasing both their veteran leadership and up-and-coming talent,” said Norway coach Cassandra Gustafson.
Jordyn Moln set the tone with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 victory over Mustang senior Madelyn Richardson at No. 1 singles. Ella Wojtowicz followed up with an equally impressive 6-0, 6-0 win against Kinley Hall at No. 2 singles and junior Tori Trudeau posted a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the third singles flight.
No. 4 singles Jessa Rossler won her match by forfeit.
“Jordyn and Ella showed great composure today, sticking to their game plans while also mixing in new shot
