Moody's Cash Orgas had a big game on defense in propelling the Trojans to a win and has been voted the Driscoll Children's Hospital Caller-Times High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 2-6.

Orgas tallied eight tackles and four sacks in the Trojans' 42-24 win against Laredo Cigarroa.

Orgas received 10,097 of the 24,465 votes cast, which was 41.3% of total votes.

Flour Bluff football player Jacob Cain was second with 8,423 votes.

Students can only be named Athlete of the Week one time per season, per sport, and athletes from one school cannot win more than three consecutive weeks.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Saturday and can be submitted through email at ctsports@caller.com or on X @CallerSports.
