The transfer window may have slammed shut in the Premier League, but that does not mean that deals cannot still be done at the tail end of the summer.

It was a hectic transfer window for Premier League clubs, with a huge amount of business being done across the division.

Top flight clubs in England spent a whopping £3.087bn on players this summer, with champions Liverpool doing the most business.

The Reds forked out an incredible £415m on new signings including Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.

Premier League clubs also did a lot of business in terms of sales, with Liverpool bringing in £187m, while Chelsea got rid of players to the tune of £288m.
