Duke football hits the road for the first time of the 2025 season, traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana to take on Tulane.
Duke (1-1) is coming off a 45-19 loss to Illinois in Week 2, undone by five turnovers and a costly third-quarter equipment violation penalty. It will be up against a 2-0 Tulane team that is coming off a 33-31 win over South Alabama.
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the programs. Duke holds a 3-2 series lead, with Tulane’s victories coming in 1964 (17-0 in New Orleans) and 1973 (24-17 in Durham). The Blue Devils have claimed the last three matchups: 48-27 in 2011, 47-13 in 2014, and 37-7 in 2015.
Duke quarterback Darian Mensah will also be facing his former team, having transferred from Tulane to the Blue Devils after the 2024 season.
