Former Leicester City manager Steve Cooper at the club's Seagrave training base
Steve Cooper has a “rare combination” of talents that has seen the former Nottingham Forest manager earn a surprise new role as head coach at Danish side Brondby.
Cooper is back in work 10 months after leaving Leicester City following an ill-fated spell at the start of last season.
Despite interest from a host of English clubs since his departure from the King Power Stadium, he’s opted to manage abroad for the first time in his career.
Danish giants Brondby were looking for a new boss after sacking Frederik Birk, who had overseen three defeats from the opening seven league games, and had failed to qualify for the Europa Conference League, losing in a two-legged play-off tie to Strasbourg.
