JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) - Jenkins County homeowners went to the sheriff's office on Sunday, September 7th to file a complaint.
They reportedly told deputies that Joseph Bethel had been aggressive and locked them out of their home. They also said they were afraid to leave their dogs out of fear that Bethel would harm them and they needed an escort to return to the residence.
Upon arrival to the home, deputies noticed blood leading up to the entrance.
After calling for backup, deputies attempted to talk to Bethel, but were refused.
Officers broke down the door and instructed Bethel to get on they ground to which he refused, so he was tased.
EMS evaluated the suspect before he was arrested and taken to jail.
