Many parents are getting back into the habit of packing school lunches and it may take some trial and error to figure out a healthy combo your kids will actually want to eat.
"My biggest advice is to have kids be excited about their lunches is to actually have them engaged and involved with the packing, the prepping, everything that goes into the lunch," said Shanna Shultz, a dietician with The GIANT Company. "And there's a lot of different ways to do that. My favorite way is to take your kids shopping with you. That's what I did with my daughter this back-to-school season. We went up and down every aisle. She picked out a bunch of stuff that she was really excited about."
