MUSKEGON – Week 2 of the Michigan high school football season saw many teams collect themselves after season-opening losses and bounce back with convincing wins.

The Muskegon area saw perennial playoff contenders such as Mona Shores, North Muskegon and Whitehall get back in the win column, while Ludington, Spring Lake, and Hart made statements with resume-building wins on their way to 2-0 starts.
