BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – At least four people were injured when a police cruiser responding to a stabbing crashed into a car in Brooklyn on Monday, according to the NYPD.

Police said it happened on Clarkson Avenue around 11:40 p.m. A man was stabbed in the chest and right hand inside an apartment building on Rockaway Parkway, according to authorities.

As police officers raced to the scene with lights and sirens on, they crashed into a 2013 Acura driven by a 21-year-old man, according to authorities.

Police said two officers, the Acura driver and an 18-year-old passenger were all taken to local hospitals. The stabbing victim was also taken to a hospital by EMS, according to authorities.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
