NEWBURYPORT — With just over a week before Ward 6 residents cast their votes, the three candidates looking to succeed Councilor Byron Lane appeared on internet radio program Local Pulse Saturday to make their case.

Phillips Drive resident Phil Cootey, Elmira Avenue resident Mary Delai and Hart Road’s Jim Eichhorst are all competing to see who will be the next Ward 6 councilor.
